Giving a Tribute Gift

For someone in your life who shares a special connection to the Minnesota Zoo, there is no greater gift than giving in their name. Tribute gifts support the general endowment – a fund established to support the Zoo’s mission well into the future. When you make a gift toward the Foundation’s general endowment, your gift earns interest and grows with other donor gifts to make an even bigger impact. What better way to honor someone who loves the Zoo than to help secure its mission for generations to come.

A $5,000 tribute gift comes with the unique opportunity to dedicate a hand-crafted Minnesota Zoo-themed art pole at the Zoo. The art pole will be installed on the Zoo campus for five years and includes an engraved plaque with your gift recipient’s name(s). Donors will have the opportunity to renew their support after five years and have a new art pole installed.

Other information: For the purposes of future campus planning, we cannot guarantee replacement art poles will be placed in the same location as your previous art pole. Donors will be notified of their art pole location once installed.
