Isn’t sand such a classic setting for children and adults to play? Kids of all ages enjoy digging, drawing and running in the sand. Playing in the sand is a great activity for many very small children as it helps them explore textures and understand basic spacial concepts like fullness and emptiness. Plus, the Sand Dig is a great place for babies to play and bond with parents, grandparents and other siblings.
There are currently two sand digs available to sponsor at the Wild Woods. One is located near the Marsh Walk, and the other is on the hill, close to the Nature Spiral.
